What season is beautiful in Mui Ne?
Visitors can come to Mui Ne all year round, each season the "sea paradise" brings a different beauty. From April to August is the best time to travel to Mui Ne, at this time the sea water is clear and cool.
August to December will be suitable for those who like surfing and adventure sports because of the timing. In December, it can rain, visitors should bring an umbrella if going out.

From Ho Chi Minh City, visitors can now easily travel to Mui Ne by motorbike, bus or train.
Travelers often follow coastal routes. From Ho Chi Minh City, you can follow the Cat Lai ferry direction, go to Long Thanh, then go to Ba Ria town, continue towards Ho Tram through Loc An, then follow the coastal road towards Phan Thiet. Total distance is about 230 km.
If you don't ride a motorbike, you can also go to Mien Dong bus station to buy a ticket to Phan Thiet, travel time is about 5 hours, ticket price is 130,000 VND per person, depending on the bus company.
Visitors can also take the SPT1/SPT4 train from Saigon station. Ticket price is 110,000 VND per person, departing in the morning.
From Hanoi, visitors can fly to Ho Chi Minh City and move to Phan Thiet or fly to Cam Ranh, Nha Trang and then catch a bus to Mui Ne (nearly 200 km).
From April 29, 2023, the Dau Giay - Phan Thiet expressway will come into operation, shortening travel time from Ho Chi Minh City to about 2 hours by car. It is expected that by the end of 2023, Phan Thiet airport will be put into use in phase 1.

Mui Ne is not only an "entertainment paradise" with a beautiful stretch of coastline, it is also famous for many historical relics and rich Champa culture. Below are the 10 most famous destinations in Mui Ne, Phan Thiet.
1. Hon Rom
Hon Rom is the name of a small mountain still wild, located in Long Son hamlet, Mui Ne ward, city. Phan Thiet. Tourists should come to Hon Rom in the early morning or late afternoon to watch the sunrise and sunset. This is also an ideal camping spot to light a campfire at night or watch the moon and stars. The cluster of beaches in Hon Rom has smooth waves, no reefs and clear blue water. You can ask for directions to Hon Rom 1, Hon Rom 2 or Thuy Trang beach to swim.
2. Pink Sand Dunes
Near Hon Rom is one of the most beautiful landscapes in Mui Ne - Pink Sand Dunes. In addition to the long, wavy sand beaches, the color of the sand is also an attraction for tourists. At one time, the sand on the hill had up to 18 different colors. Going up the sand dunes, you can rent skateboards, priced at about 20,000 VND per board.

3. Hon Ghenh
Hon Ghenh is also known as Hon Lao, this place is about one kilometer from Mui Ne and is still quite pristine. To get to Hon Ghenh, you can rent a boat from fishermen (200,000 VND per boat of 10 people) or follow the shuttle service of the resort or hotel.
Early in the morning, visitors can come here to fish, then go scuba diving to see the coral. In the evening is the best time to watch the afternoon and sunset at sea.
4. Bau Trang – Bau Sen
Bau Trang - Bau Sen are two natural freshwater lakes located between vast white sand dunes. Coming to Bau Trang in the summer, visitors can admire thousands of lotus flowers blooming among the white sand dunes.
Bau Trang sand dunes are likened to the "mini-Sahara desert" in Vietnam with its vast, pristine scenery. Here visitors can rent off-road vehicles or Jeeps to drive around Bau Trang, costing about 600,000 VND for 20 minutes.
5. Suoi Tien
Suoi Tien in Mui Ne is called "Bong Lai fairy scene" by tourists. Here there is a small stream next to Hon Rom. Next to the stream are natural red and white stalactite hills with many strange shapes due to the erosion of time.
6. Mui Ne fishing village
Mui Ne fishing village is about 3 km from town. Right at the entrance to the fishing village are hundreds of colorful fishing boats anchored. Not far away is a small market with a peaceful pace of life.
Although the fishing village only stretches about 100 meters along the coast, this is where visitors can most clearly see the lives of fishermen. If you go to the fishing village early in the morning, you can buy a lot of fresh seafood when the boat just docks.
7. Duc Thanh School
This is a historical destination you should visit when coming to Mui Ne, Phan Thiet. The school was founded in 1907 by patriotic scholars in response to the Duy Tan movement in Central Vietnam. Duc Thanh School is also where President Ho Chi Minh stopped to teach before entering Saigon. Today, Duc Thanh school still retains almost intact memorabilia from nearly a century ago.
8. Van Thuy Tu Palace
Located on Ngu Ong Street, Van Thuy Tu Palace is a long-standing relic (1762) with ancient and profound beauty. This is also a symbol of the fish worshiping belief of Binh Thuan fishermen. Van Thuy Palace is also home to the largest fish skeleton in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
This skeleton is 22 m long and weighs up to 65 tons. Every year at the Palace, ceremonies are held solemnly on lunar days: February 20 (Te Xuan); April 20 (fishing bridge); June 20 (Main season); July 20 (Vertical Rowing) and August 23 (Off-Season). During the ceremony, there are also activities such as boi singing, troupe performances, boat racing...
9. Mui Ne Bay
This is an attractive destination if you like swimming and experiencing outdoor activities. Located along Mui Ne Bay are beautiful beaches with long stretches of white sand. If you want to find pristine, deserted beaches, you can rent a boat to Hon Lao island. This is a deserted island near Mui Ne Bay but few people pass by.
10. Poshanu Tower
7 km northeast of Phan Thiet center, Poshanu Cham tower is a group of remaining relics of the ancient Champa Kingdom. The tower has Hoa Lai architectural style following the ancient art style of Champa.

11. Fish Sauce Museum of Ancient Fishing Village
This is the first and only fish sauce museum in Vietnam today, recreating 300 years of history of Phan Thiet fishing village, from the Champa period, King Nguyen, stretching until the French colonial period and the years from the 1940s to 1960s. Entrance fee for adults is 100,000 VND, children under 1 meter are free.
